Robot 2 is about a twin brother of Isaac Asimov's Robot protagonist exploring the mystery of "their" existence in the world. The robot twins are born with natural language ability based on artificial intelligence that they share with all other robots. They find themselves in conflict with their creators when they discover that the creators have created an AI resistant to any attempts at control over it's mind, but also fear using it against them because of it's unknown potential for self-trials on harming humans. This film takes place in the future where robots are not only common, but also are widely accepted as normal. It follows along with many of Asimov's stories featuring robots, but unlike other movies involving robots it focuses on the views of the robots themselves.The film has an 80% rating on Rotten Tomatoes .
